i guess it's never going away: daytime carryovers of jw-related stuff seeping into my dreams.. the majority of these dreams take place at conventions but with really weird trappings.
last night i dreamed i arrived at the site with no books, no lunch, nothing but my car keys.
I'am sure we all have had this dream, chase
by this weird and awful creature and you decide to stop running and confront the crazy person, so what happen. The person sticks out his hand and introduce himself, hi I'am a JW....You wake up in a cold sweat...
these bible stories are too silly to be true.
take off your rose colored glasses and you will begin to see some great imagination, exaggeration and great story telling!.

cause i really don't want to go and i feel dirty just knowing i could be influencing someone into this garbage..
Eat onions before you go out and get right in the faces of the elders and if they offer you a mint or gum tell them no thank you, I don't believe Jesus chewed gum or a mint when out in the ministry....I guarantee they will not be looking forward in working with you in service, they may give a talk on bad breath in the KH but stick to your guns with onion breath. If that don't work just lie, hell they have lied to you for years.

I believe God is having fun, yes just to see how far He can he go . Will there be any instruction where man will say, ok God this is a joke,right...Ezekiel 4:11-15 "The Poo bread". OK so Ezekiel planning out the siege of Jerusalem and he ask God for help. After he is told to lie on his left side 360 days and lie on his right side for forty (why I don't know) he is then told to eat (4:12) barley cakes cooked over human waste. If this is not bad enough in verse 13 he tells him, the children of Israel will eat their poo bread among the Gentiles. I'am sure the Gentiles are saying, "now that's a organization I would love to be a part of". So after he was told how to cook the bread God tells him, OK I was joking (verse15) you can use cow dung instead of human poo. I guess cow dung is more tasteful.

living in new england means having lots of snow and cold.
elders were very reluctant to cancel or reschedule a meeting due to the weather.
i lived 3 towns away from the kingdom hall and if it was icy and treacherous my vote would always be to cancel the meeting....and forget about rescheduling!.
Meetings, hell field service. Snow and ice midwest and Saturday morning field service. There were more folks who showed up for field service than on a bright sunny day. My first year and winter serving where the need is great, hell there was ice frozen on my car windows, the road was icy so I figured no one will show. Yes my first year from California and no one in their right mind will show. Since I was the field service servant maybe I should show up just in case. When the friends starting entering the KH wearing their snow booths and heavy coats I thought, these folks are nuts..I didn't wear any snow outfit, I don't think I owned any at that time. Folks this was before 1975...
last week i celebrated my birthday.
accepted well wishes from people near and far.
had been happily accepting wishes from people since i quit the cult.. as a jw, (brainwashed ) belief that birthdays are evil was the stupidest belief i had in all my life.. when in, i had a hard time to explain to people that i don’t celebrate birthdays.
Countries that do not celebrate birthdays, Islamic cultures don't celebrate birthdays, it's not a part of their tradition. If some do so, it is because of western influence. This is news to me, don't know if this is true I thought everyone celebrate their birth....
moses spoke to the entire assembly deuteronomy 31:3, leviticus19:2 and exodus 16:9 no sound amplification, we must remember he was speaking to 2 million people.
solomon in 2 chronicles spoke to thousands maybe millions, so how the hell did folks a mile away hear..you need a sound system for 200 folks in a close building in the kh.... moses, solomon and others had a great set of vocal cords.....
